This site was started in March 2006 by a group of villagers in Quorn, Leicestershire, to support the efforts of compiling their village design statement.
We hope that you find the site useful, and will become involved in our design statement - everyone can contribute to the process. If you have some time spare and want to contribute to the development of Quorn's Village Design Statement, please contact us.
We are always glad to have feedback, so once you have toured our site, feel free to contact us with comments or suggestions.
QUORN VILLAGE DESIGN STATEMENT ACCEPTED BY CHARNWOOD BOROUGH COUNCIL
The Quorn Village Design Statement has now been accepted by Charnwood Borough Council subject to some small amendments suggested by the Council when they debated the issue.
As such the definitive version of the Design Statement is now hosted on the Charnwood Borough Council site rather than this site. This site will continue in existence for some time as a record of the work involved in creating the Design Statement.
The Quorn Village Design Statement may be found HERE on the Charnwood Borough Council's website.
There are two documents from Charnwood Borough Council detailing their proposed amendments located in this site's Documents Section and the QVDS Team would welcome comments on them.
